ISLAMABAD – Prominent religious scholar and former Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chairman, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, has declared that the minimum amount for Fitrana and Fidya this year will be Rs240 per person.

In his statement, Mufti Muneeb urged those with higher incomes to contribute to Fitrana, Fidya, and Kaffara in accordance with their financial capabilities. He detailed that the Fidya amount based on wheat flour is set at Rs240, while it is Rs700 for barley, Rs4,000 for high-quality dates, and Rs6,400 for premium raisins.
Additionally, Mufti Muneeb explained that the Kaffara for breaking a fast requires feeding 60 needy individuals two meals each.
