The FIR further noted that her comments undermined Pakistan’s democratic values, which uphold the right of individuals to live according to their religion without fostering hatred.

An investigation into the matter has been initiated by the Okara police following the FIR’s registration.

A similar FIR was lodged in Bahawalnagar, with complainant Asif accusing Bushra Bibi of harming Pakistan’s reputation and foreign relations.

The complaint stated, “Her allegations damaged Pakistan’s international standing and negatively impacted its foreign policy.”

Both cases highlight the legal and diplomatic concerns raised by the statements attributed to the former first lady. Investigations are ongoing in both cities to address the allegations.
