Pakistan Navy Deploys Warship to Protect Indian Ocean Shipping

The Pakistan Navy has deployed its warship, PNS ASLAT, along with a helicopter, to the Indian Ocean to safeguard merchant ships traveling to and from Pakistani ports. This deployment aims to enhance maritime security and ensure the safe passage of commercial vessels.

According to the Directorate General Public Relations (DGPR), PNS ASLAT will conduct independent operations and joint missions with allied nations. The ship’s primary goal is to maintain maritime security and protect Pakistan’s national interests at sea.
