Led by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs, the initiative aims to streamline entry procedures, providing applicants with a response within 72 hours.

Tourism Minister Mohammed Rami Martini emphasized the convenience of the online application process, which also extends to Syrians inviting friends and relatives from Arab and foreign countries. Foreign nationals residing abroad can access the electronic visa application directly through the E-Visa website.

The system offers two payment options, allowing applicants to pay electronically or defer payment until they reach border points. The Syrian Ministry of Tourism aims to attract 2.5 million visitors this year, with 40% being tourists.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
