Karrar Haidri, the Secretary of the Alpine Club of Pakistan, celebrated this monumental accomplishment, describing it as a pivotal moment in Pakistan’s mountaineering legacy. He proclaimed, “Pakistan takes extraordinary pride in the extraordinary achievement of Ahmed and Anum.”

This impressive feat comes mere days after Naila Kiani made history as the first Pakistani woman to conquer Mount Manaslu. Notably, the accomplished climber Sirbaz Khan had also successfully ascended Manaslu earlier in the week, alongside Naila Kiani.
Mount Manaslu, often recognized as one of the world’s fourteen highest mountains, bore witness to the commencement of this exceptional journey on September 21, when these two remarkable climbers began their ascent from camp three.
