Indian street walls decorated with Benazir’s pictures

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]KERALA – Former Pakistan’s Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s images appeared on posters in Thiruvananthapuram, the state of Kerala’s capital, drawing anger from the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP).

Prior to AIDWA’s 13th national conference, which took place from January 6 to January 9, the Communist Party of India’s women’s wing, All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA), reportedly plastered Ms. Bhutto’s images on posters and invitation cards. The posters also include text summarising Ms. Bhutto’s educational history and résumé.

In response to the posters, BJP leader Sandeep Washpati claimed that Ms. Bhutto was the enemy of India and that she had done everything in her power to denigrate India. He continued, “Those who respect India’s opponent are India’s adversaries.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
