The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has revised requirements for several positions included in its latest recruitment drive. The changes include new physical criteria for female applicants.
According to a new corrigendum issued by NCCIA, the minimum height for women applying for certain positions has been set at 5 feet 2 inches. The revised requirement applies to posts No. 1, 6 and 7.
These positions include Sub Inspector, Constable and Constable Driver. The changes have been made to the recruitment advertisement originally issued on August 23, 2026.
The ongoing recruitment drive includes 48 Sub Inspector posts, 174 Constable positions and 64 Constable Driver vacancies. The agency has clarified the requirements following the issuance of the updated corrigendum.
NCCIA has also provided additional details for candidates applying for Constable Driver positions. Applicants must hold a valid LTV or HTV driving licence issued by any licensing authority in Pakistan.
Candidates for the Constable Driver posts must also meet a specific eyesight requirement. They are required to have 6/6 vision in both eyes without using glasses.
The original recruitment advertisement also stated that applicants for Constable Driver positions must have second-class Matriculation from a recognised board.
Candidates must also be capable of driving cars and light vehicles. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance is another requirement listed for the position.
The latest clarification is important for candidates planning to apply for the advertised posts. Applicants are advised to review the revised requirements before submitting their applications.
NCCIA said all other terms and conditions included in the original recruitment advertisement will remain unchanged. The corrigendum only revises or clarifies the specified requirements.
The recruitment drive is part of NCCIA’s efforts to strengthen its workforce. The agency is responsible for investigating cybercrime and related digital offences in Pakistan.
The available positions offer opportunities for candidates seeking government employment in law enforcement and cybercrime investigation. However, applicants must meet the specific educational, physical and professional requirements for their chosen posts.
Female candidates applying for the affected positions should pay particular attention to the revised height requirement. The minimum height has now been clearly stated as 5 feet 2 inches.
Constable Driver applicants face additional requirements because the position involves driving responsibilities. A valid driving licence, proper eyesight and driving skills are among the conditions specified by NCCIA.
Candidates should also ensure that their educational qualifications match the requirements. For Constable Driver positions, second-class Matriculation from a recognised board is required.
The application deadline for the NCCIA recruitment drive is September 7, 2026. Applicants must complete the process online before the deadline.
Candidates are also required to pay an application and testing fee of Rs2,000 for each post. Those applying for multiple positions will need to follow the applicable fee requirement for each post.
Applicants should carefully enter their information and provide the required documents during the online application process. Any candidate who does not meet the revised requirements may face issues during the recruitment process.
The latest corrigendum provides greater clarity for applicants following the original recruitment advertisement. Candidates are encouraged to check the updated requirements rather than relying only on the earlier advertisement.
With the September 7 deadline approaching, eligible candidates should complete their applications as early as possible. The revised requirements will apply to the affected positions in the current recruitment drive.
