Gold rates can vary slightly between cities and individual dealers. Differences may depend on market conditions, purity and the timing of the rate update.

The domestic gold market has remained bullish in recent days. Several consecutive gains have pushed 24K gold above the Rs480,000-per-tola mark.

The latest rally has also brought gold closer to the important Rs500,000-per-tola psychological level. A move towards this level could attract even greater attention from investors and jewellery buyers.

However, the future direction of gold prices will depend on several factors. International bullion prices remain one of the biggest influences on Pakistan’s local gold market.

Currency movements can also have a major impact. Changes in the value of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar can quickly affect the local price of imported gold.

Domestic demand is another important factor. Strong buying interest from consumers and investors can support higher prices, particularly when uncertainty remains high in global financial markets.

Gold Price in Lahore

In Lahore, 24K gold is trading at approximately Rs483,036 to Rs483,550 per tola, depending on the dealer and timing of the update. Lower-purity gold remains available at comparatively lower rates.

24K GoldRs483,036–Rs483,550
22K GoldRs442,783
21K GoldRs422,657

Buyers should remember that the quoted gold market rate is not always the final price paid for jewellery. Jewellery shops may add making charges and other costs to the market price.

Investors are also closely monitoring international markets as gold continues to trade at elevated levels. Any major change in global bullion prices could have a direct impact on Pakistan’s domestic rates.

The exchange rate will also remain important for the local market. A significant movement in the rupee could lead to changes in gold prices even if international bullion rates remain relatively stable.

For now, gold remains firmly above Rs480,000 per tola. Market participants are watching closely to see whether prices will move towards the Rs500,000 mark or experience a correction after the recent rally.
