Gold Prices Surge Again in Pakistan as Global Rates Soar

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded another sharp increase on Saturday, continuing their strong upward trend amid rising international bullion prices.

The price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs5,700 per tola, reaching Rs482,936. The latest rise marks another significant daily gain in the local gold market.

The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs4,972. The latest rate reached Rs414,039, according to the reported market figures.

The rise in local gold prices followed a strong increase in international bullion rates. Global gold prices climbed by $57 to reach $4,604 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

The continued increase in international gold prices has directly influenced the domestic market. Gold prices have recorded consecutive daily gains in Pakistan.

The price of 22-karat gold was recorded at Rs441,375, while 21-karat gold reached Rs421,312. These rates also reflect the broader upward movement in the precious metals market.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable during the latest session. Silver was quoted at Rs7,379 per tola on Saturday, showing no change from the previous rate.

Gold prices in Lahore also remained elevated. The reported rate for a gold piece stood between Rs481,500 and Rs480,500, while Pathoor was quoted between Rs476,000 and Rs474,000.

The 22-karat gold rate in Lahore was recorded at Rs441,375. The 21-karat rate stood at Rs421,312, while Tezabi Sell was quoted at Rs7,350.

The KG Bar Sell rate in Lahore was reported at Rs7,400. Local market rates can vary depending on dealers, making charges and other trading conditions.

The latest increase has further pushed gold prices to record high levels in Pakistan. The continued strength of international bullion prices remains a major factor behind the domestic increase.

Investors and buyers are closely watching global gold prices as further international gains could put additional pressure on local rates. The sharp movement is also likely to influence demand among consumers and investors.

For Pakistani buyers, the latest surge means purchasing gold has become increasingly expensive. The market could remain sensitive to changes in international bullion prices and other economic developments.
