The father of Mir Raza Ali has rejected speculation that his son died by suicide, insisting that he was murdered and alleging that the family is being subjected to a media trial aimed at diverting attention from the case.
Speaking to ARY News, Mir Raza Ali’s father said the post-mortem examination was completed and the body was handed over to the family within an hour. He questioned the investigation process and called for a transparent and impartial inquiry into his son’s death.
Describing his son as a successful businessman, he said Mir Raza owned and managed four shops and was his only child. He added that he personally laid his son to rest and was determined to seek justice.
The grieving father claimed that Mir Raza was shot from behind, arguing that such an injury could not support the theory of suicide. He further alleged that the condition of his son’s body and facial injuries indicated that he had been killed in a different manner.
He also claimed that attempts were being made to defame the family through a media campaign to divert attention from the facts surrounding the case.
Referring to the statement of a nursery worker, Mir Raza’s father said the worker had given statements to investigators and family members. According to him, the worker said he discovered the body while arriving to water plants on the morning of July 29.
The father also questioned why CCTV footage allegedly showing individuals arriving on motorcycles around 3:30 a.m. had not been made public. He claimed the footage could provide important clues about what happened before his son’s death.
Reiterating his stance, Mir Raza’s father said he firmly believed his son was murdered and urged investigators to thoroughly examine all available evidence to identify those responsible. Authorities have not publicly confirmed the cause or circumstances of Mir Raza’s death, and the investigation remains ongoing.
