Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has extended an offer of friendship and cooperation to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers and what he described as serious politicians, urging them to return to the political process and work together for the country’s progress.
Addressing an election rally in Muzaffarabad, Bilawal advised PTI to abandon the politics of boycotts and actively participate in elections. He said political parties should resolve their differences through democratic institutions instead of staying away from the electoral process.
The PPP chairman said that participating in elections and working within Parliament is the best way to pursue political struggles and introduce reforms. He stressed that democratic dialogue and cooperation are essential for strengthening Pakistan’s political system.
Bilawal also called on political leaders to engage in constructive politics and work together on issues of national importance. He said cooperation among political forces is necessary to address the country’s economic and governance challenges.
He reiterated that Parliament remains the appropriate platform for legislation, debate, and reforms. According to him, political disagreements should be settled through democratic means rather than through confrontation or boycotts.
The remarks come at a time when political parties continue to debate electoral participation and the future direction of Pakistan’s democratic process. Bilawal’s comments have drawn attention as he encouraged opposition members to play an active role in parliamentary politics.
