UE Lahore Announces Fully Funded IT Courses for Students

The University of Education (UE) Lahore has started accepting applications for fully funded summer IT courses under the Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development Programme (PMYSDP), offering students an opportunity to gain in-demand digital skills at no cost.

The training programs are available to eligible UE students studying at the university’s Lahore campuses. Interested applicants must submit their applications by August 2, 2026, while classes are expected to commence in late August or September.

Wide Range of IT Courses Available

Students can enroll in several high-demand technology fields designed to improve their technical knowledge and career prospects.

The courses include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Full-Stack Development, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Data Science, UI/UX Design, Business Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, and Advanced AI Literacy.

These programs aim to equip students with practical skills that are increasingly sought after in Pakistan’s growing technology sector as well as the global job market.

Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in the fourth semester or above of a BS degree program at any University of Education Lahore campus.

Applicants from a variety of academic disciplines are eligible, including Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Commerce, Engineering, Data Science, and other related fields.

The initiative is designed to help students strengthen their professional skills while preparing them for future careers in the digital economy.

Scholarship Covers International Certification

The fully funded scholarship covers the complete tuition and training fee for the selected course.

Students will also receive learning materials and financial support for an international certification examination worth up to $600, allowing participants to earn globally recognized credentials without additional costs.

The certification component is expected to enhance graduates’ employability by validating their technical expertise through internationally accepted standards.

How to Apply

Eligible students can submit their applications through the CDLBM scholarship courses portal by completing the online application form with the required personal and academic details.

However, applicants should note that the application link redirects to a form managed by CDLBM rather than an official University of Education website.

Students are advised to verify the scholarship opportunity through their respective campuses or official University of Education communication channels before submitting sensitive information such as CNIC details or academic documents.

The initiative forms part of the government’s broader efforts to promote digital skills development among young Pakistanis and prepare them for opportunities in emerging technology fields.
