He stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed him to take critical steps in collaboration with the private sector to boost tourism in the country.
Because Pakistan has the potential to grow its tourism industry, he believes the government should make it easier for visitors to visit places like Skardu.
In collaboration with other organisations such as the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Pearl Continental Hotels, Hashoo Group, and others, the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) has established a pavilion at ATM 2023.
The Adviser to the Prime Minister also praised the Pakistan Embassy in the UAE and TDAP for their efforts to assist Pakistani exhibitors in participating in the event.
Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s ambassador in the UAE, described Pakistan’s return to the ATM as a significant step forward that will promote tourism in the country and improve its soft image globally.
Aftab Rana, Managing Director of PTDC, emphasised that Pakistan has exceptional views, a rich culture, heritage, and diverse landscapes.
ATM 2023 will feature over 160 countries and 2,000 exhibitors. It is the 30th edition of the event, which is part of the 10-day Arabian Travel Week festival.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
