The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced scheduled power outages in several areas of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal on Wednesday to facilitate routine maintenance and development work on its electricity network.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply in Islamabad Circle will remain suspended from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for consumers connected to the Tramari, Lehtrar, ISI, Chattha, and Rehara feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power will remain unavailable on the Ghazan Khan feeder from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., while the Kambeli Sadiq feeder will face outages from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
In Attock Circle, electricity supply to the Wah General Hospital feeder will remain suspended from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, consumers in Jhelum Circle connected to the City Housing, Sanghoi, Safdar Shaheed, Nathwala, Langarpur, Saeela, Pakhwal, and F-9 (Chak Daulat) feeders will experience power interruptions between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Similarly, in Chakwal Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for consumers connected to the Khanpur, Jhand Khan Zada, Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, and CWO feeders.
IESCO will also conduct maintenance work in the GSO Circle, with activities scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani Burhan transmission lines. Additional maintenance will continue from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the 132kV Chakwal Bhagwal Talagang, 132kV Kahuta City Palandri, and 132kV New Wah Bahtermore lines, including associated earth switches and nearby infrastructure.
The company has advised consumers in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements in advance to minimize inconvenience during the scheduled outages.
