Gold and silver prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend on Wednesday, recording their fourth consecutive daily decline, in line with falling international bullion prices.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs4,700 to Rs430,236.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also declined by Rs4,029, settling at Rs368,858, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs3,693 to Rs338,132.
International Gold Prices
In the global bullion market, gold prices fell by $47 to $4,078 per ounce, extending the recent decline in international markets.
Silver Prices Also Decline
Silver prices also moved lower in Pakistan.
The price of 24-karat silver per tola dropped by Rs138 to Rs6,421, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs119 to Rs5,504.
The latest decline reflects continued weakness in both domestic and international precious metals markets.
