The Pakistan Army has announced online registration for candidates seeking induction as Captains through the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC). The recruitment drive is aimed at engineering graduates who wish to serve in the military and contribute their technical expertise to the country’s defense sector.
According to the official advertisement, the opportunity is available for Aeronautical Engineers, including candidates specializing in Avionics, Aerospace, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. Successful applicants will be inducted into the Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (EME), one of the Pakistan Army’s key technical branches.
Online registration commenced on June 22, 2026, and will remain open until July 12, 2026. Interested candidates have been advised to complete their applications through the official recruitment portal before the deadline. Authorities have emphasized that late submissions may not be considered during the selection process.
The recruitment offers induction at the rank of Captain under the Direct Short Service Commission. Officials stated that applicants should carefully review the eligibility requirements, educational qualifications, age criteria, and selection procedures available on the recruitment portal before submitting their applications.
Candidates can apply by accessing the online registration system, selecting the “Join Pakistan Army as Captain” course, entering the required information, and submitting the application form within the prescribed timeframe. The Army has encouraged applicants to ensure that all information provided is accurate and complete to avoid complications during the selection process.
For additional guidance, candidates may also visit Army Selection and Recruitment Centers located in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Gilgit, Hyderabad, Multan, Dera Ismail Khan, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad, Khuzdar, and Pano Aqil. Officials have reiterated that the last date for online registration is July 12, 2026, and urged eligible engineering graduates to apply before the closing date to take advantage of the opportunity to join the Pakistan Army as commissioned officers.
