GCU Lahore Opens Fall 2026 Admissions for 120 Academic Programs

Government College University (GCU) Lahore has announced admissions for the Fall 2026 session. The university is offering admission opportunities in 120 academic programs across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.

According to the university, online applications are now open. Interested candidates can submit their applications until July 3, 2026. Students can apply through the official online admission portal.

The admissions cover a wide range of disciplines. This year, GCU is offering 63 undergraduate (BS) programs, 41 postgraduate (MS/MPhil) programs, and 16 PhD programs. The available programs are designed to meet the educational and research needs of students from different academic backgrounds.

Admissions are open for both the Main Campus in Lahore and the Kala Shah Kaku (KSK) Campus. As part of its efforts to expand academic opportunities, GCU has introduced a new Associate Degree Program (ADP) in Computer Science at the KSK Campus.

GCU has also announced the availability of self-finance seats for eligible candidates. These seats will provide additional opportunities for students seeking admission in their desired programs.

In addition to academic admissions, the university has released schedules for sports and co-curricular activity trials. These activities form an important part of the admission process for BS programs. Students interested in sports or extracurricular achievements can participate according to the announced schedule.

The university has advised all applicants to carefully review the eligibility criteria before submitting their applications. Candidates should also check program-specific requirements and admission policies to avoid any issues during the application process.

Founded in 1864, GCU is one of Pakistan’s oldest public universities. The institution is widely recognized for its academic excellence, research culture, and diverse educational offerings. Over the years, GCU has produced graduates who have contributed to various fields in Pakistan and beyond.
