Saqib Chaddar Claims Paying Momina Iqbal's Sister $13,000 Tuition Fees

The dispute between actress Momina Iqbal and Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chaddar has taken a new turn as the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) continues its investigation into allegations made by both sides. The case involves claims of harassment, blackmail, extortion, and personal misconduct, drawing significant public attention.

In a statement submitted to investigators, Saqib Chaddar and his wife, Sameera Khan, alleged that a substantial amount of money was transferred to Momina Iqbal during the course of their relationship. According to Chaddar, approximately Rs8.3 million was sent to the actress over several years. He also claimed that he paid for numerous local and international trips after the two became acquainted in 2020.

The statement further alleges that Chaddar provided financial assistance for the education of Momina Iqbal’s sister, Ramsha Iqbal. He claimed to have paid around 13,000 Australian dollars in university fees and alleged that an additional 10,000 Australian dollars were obtained through pressure and blackmail. These claims are currently part of the ongoing inquiry.

Chaddar stated that his relationship with the actress eventually ended after he allegedly discovered details about her previous marriage and divorce. He claimed that this information had not been disclosed earlier and said he decided to end the relationship in August 2025.

The lawmaker also alleged that private photos and videos belonging to him were stored on Momina Iqbal’s mobile phone. According to his statement, he later received information that unidentified individuals were threatening to release the material online. He said he warned both the actress and her sister against sharing or misusing any private content.

In addition, Chaddar claimed that Momina Iqbal was aware of his previous marriage and cited call records as evidence. He further alleged that she encouraged his wife, Sameera Khan, to seek a divorce.

The MPA also accused Momina Iqbal’s husband, Hamza Habib, of issuing threats against him, claiming that a related case has already been registered with authorities.

Meanwhile, Chaddar rejected the complaints filed against him, describing them as false and inconsistent. The NCCIA investigation remains ongoing, and officials have yet to release their final findings.
