Punjab Is Offering Nearly Rs. 250,000 a Month—Here's Who Can Apply

The Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) has announced new contract-based job opportunities for professionals interested in field survey operations. The recruitment drive will fill positions across the province to strengthen land record and survey activities.

According to the official announcement, the authority is hiring 41 Assistant Directors for Field Survey Operations. One vacancy has been allocated for each district of Punjab, providing opportunities for qualified candidates throughout the province.

Selected applicants will receive a competitive monthly pay package. The basic monthly salary is Rs. 149,500. In addition, successful candidates will receive a technical expert incentive allowance of Rs. 100,000. This brings the total monthly package to Rs. 249,500.

To apply for the position, candidates must have at least 16 years of education. Applicants should hold a degree in Geomatics Engineering, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or another related discipline from a recognized university.

Candidates must also have at least five years of relevant professional experience after completing their qualification. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in cadastral surveys, engineering surveys, boundary demarcation, or field operations management.

The age limit for applicants is 25 to 40 years. The appointments will be made on a contract basis for an initial period of three years. The contract may be extended if the selected candidates demonstrate satisfactory performance during their service.

The Punjab Land Records Authority has asked interested candidates to submit their applications through the official Punjab Job Portal. Along with the online application, candidates must also send a hard copy of their application to the Director Human Resources and Legal at the PLRA Head Office in Lahore.

Applicants are required to attach attested copies of their educational certificates, experience documents, domicile, CNIC, and two recent passport-size photographs. Incomplete applications or those missing the required documents may not be considered during the selection process.

The deadline to apply is August 7, 2026, before 5:00 pm. Candidates are advised to complete both the online and physical submission process before the closing date to avoid any delays.

Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for the next stage of recruitment. The selection process may include a written test or an interview, depending on the authority’s recruitment requirements. The department has also confirmed that no travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided to candidates appearing for the test or interview.

The latest recruitment campaign offers a valuable opportunity for experienced professionals seeking government employment in the surveying sector.
