FPSC Exam Mismanagement Leaves Candidates Stranded Outside Centres

Dozens of candidates faced confusion outside exam centres during the Federal Public Service Commission recruitment test Phase-I/2026. The situation created frustration and uncertainty among applicants.

The issue emerged at multiple locations, including a major centre in Islamabad’s G-6/2 sector. Candidates arrived on time but were left waiting outside without clear instructions.

Many applicants said they were not properly informed about the exam arrangements. Some even claimed that staff at the centre appeared unaware of the scheduled test.

The written exams under FPSC were originally set for April 25 to May 6, 2026. However, the schedule was later changed to May 9 to May 20, 2026.

Despite the revised timetable, confusion continued on the first day. Candidates reported poor coordination at several exam centres.

At the Islamabad venue, applicants gathered early in the morning. However, they were later told that there was no clear confirmation about the exam.

This led to long waiting hours outside the centre. Many candidates said they had travelled from different cities to appear in the FPSC test.

Videos from the scene quickly circulated on social media. The footage showed frustrated candidates demanding answers from officials.

The situation raised serious concerns about exam management and communication. Candidates criticized the lack of proper information from authorities.

Reports also suggest that similar problems were seen in other cities. Some candidates claimed confusion at their assigned FPSC exam centres as well.

The incident triggered widespread online discussion. Many users questioned the administrative handling of the recruitment process.

Candidates expressed disappointment over the uncertainty. They said months of preparation were affected by the mismanagement.

The FPSC has not yet issued a detailed public explanation regarding the situation. Candidates are now waiting for official clarification.
