52 Flights to Gulf Cancelled from Pakistan, Passengers Face Travel Delays

Flight operations across Pakistan have been disrupted after 52 Flights to the Middle East were cancelled due to the ongoing Gulf conflict. The situation has affected multiple airports and created difficulties for passengers planning to travel.

According to reports, the cancelled Flights were scheduled from major cities including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Multan, and Sialkot. Authorities confirmed that airlines suspended several routes due to security concerns and regional instability.

At Allama Iqbal International Airport, 18 Flights heading to Middle Eastern destinations were cancelled. Passengers faced delays and uncertainty as airline counters managed large crowds seeking updates and rescheduling options.

Similarly, Jinnah International Airport reported the highest number of cancellations. A total of 20 flights were affected from Karachi alone. These included routes to key destinations such as Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, and Dubai.

At Islamabad International Airport, two flights to the Middle East were cancelled. Meanwhile, Bacha Khan International Airport saw 10 cancelled flights. Two flights from Multan and six from Sialkot were also affected.

The cancellation of these Flights has caused major inconvenience for travelers. Many passengers were either stranded at airports or forced to delay their travel plans. Airlines have advised passengers to stay in contact for updates and alternative arrangements.

Officials say the disruptions are linked to the ongoing conflict in the Gulf region. Airspace restrictions and safety concerns have forced airlines to cancel or reschedule several routes. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and may take further action if needed.

Travel experts suggest that passengers should confirm their flight status before leaving for the airport. They also recommend allowing extra time for check-in and coordination with airline staff.
