Gold Price Hits Rs539,562 Per Tola After Strong Market Rally

Gold prices in Pakistan surged sharply as bullion rates followed a strong upward trend in international markets, pushing the per tola price to Rs539,562 in the local market.

According to market data, the price of 10 grams of gold reached Rs462,587, reflecting renewed investor demand after a brief decline recorded earlier this week.

The latest increase comes just a day after gold witnessed a major drop of Rs6,500 per tola on Monday, when prices fell to Rs533,362 before staging a strong recovery.

International bullion markets drove the rally, with global gold prices jumping by $62 to reach $5,168 per ounce, including a $20 premium amid changing economic conditions.

In Pakistan, 22-karat gold per tola was recorded at Rs478,775, while 21-karat and 18-karat gold stood at Rs457,012 and Rs391,725 respectively across major bullion markets.

Silver prices also moved upward, gaining Rs460 per tola to reach Rs9,354, indicating broader strength across precious metals in response to global market momentum.
