Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has temporarily paused work on the Hajj Flight schedule due to rising tensions in the Middle East. Officials say the decision was made while reviewing the regional situation involving possible military action against Iran.
According to ministry sources, the current geopolitical climate may affect travel planning. Authorities want to ensure that the Hajj Flight schedule is safe and practical for all pilgrims. The schedule will be finalized once officials have carefully assessed the situation.
Despite this temporary pause, the visa process for Hajj pilgrims is continuing without interruption. Officials confirmed that visas are being issued around the clock to avoid delays. A large portion of the pilgrims has already received their visas.
Sources say that nearly two-thirds of the applicants have been granted visas so far. Work is ongoing to complete visas for around 120,000 Pakistani pilgrims this year. Ministry staff have even canceled weekend holidays to speed up the process.
Officials said the Hajj Flight plan will be completed while considering the latest regional developments. They stressed that the pause does not mean the Hajj preparations have stopped.
Preparations for the overall Hajj operation are moving forward quickly. The ministry is working on several key arrangements for pilgrims. These include accommodation bookings, room allocations, and travel logistics.
Authorities believe the full Hajj schedule may be released before Eid-ul-Fitr. Once finalized, the information will include the complete Hajj Flight timetable and other travel details.
Pilgrims will be able to check these updates through official platforms. The Ministry of Religious Affairs will publish the schedule on its official website. Information will also be available through the Pak Hajj mobile application.
Meanwhile, the next phase of Hajj training is also being planned. Officials confirmed that the second phase of training will start soon after Eid-ul-Fitr. Training materials and schedules have already been prepared.
The ministry says these sessions will help pilgrims understand the rituals and travel guidelines. Authorities aim to ensure that all pilgrims are fully prepared for the journey.
