The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has established a new registration center at Karachi City Court to improve access to its services for lawyers and their family members. The initiative is part of the authority’s broader efforts to expand service facilities and make essential identification services more convenient for specific professional communities.
In an official statement, NADRA announced that the newly set up center was formally inaugurated by NADRA Authority Board Member Rahim Awan. The ceremony was also attended by Aamir Ali Khan, Director General of the NADRA Regional Head Office in Karachi. Officials said the new facility aims to make it easier for members of the legal fraternity to complete important registration processes without having to travel to other NADRA centers.
According to NADRA, the center will primarily serve lawyers working at Karachi City Court, members of the bar, and their immediate family members. With the establishment of this dedicated facility, legal professionals will be able to access services such as identity registration and documentation in a more efficient and timely manner.
The authority further stated that the center has been designed to ensure smooth and quick service for visitors. It includes two one-window service counters that allow applicants to complete multiple procedures at a single point, reducing processing time and improving overall efficiency.
To ensure comfort for visitors, the facility also features a fully air-conditioned waiting area with seating capacity for up to 15 individuals. This arrangement is expected to provide a more organized and comfortable experience for those visiting the center.
NADRA officials said the new registration facility is expected to serve approximately 60 to 70 people on a daily basis. They added that the center will not only ease the workload at other NADRA offices in the city but also save valuable time for lawyers who often have demanding professional schedules.
