Imran Khan’s Medical Report Reaches ATC—What Does It Reveal

The medical report of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan has been formally submitted to the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC). The report was presented during a hearing related to his medical examination.

The hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah. The case focused on a petition seeking details of Imran Khan’s health condition. During the proceedings, Deputy Superintendent of Adiala Jail, Jamat Ali Shah, appeared before the court. He submitted the medical report as directed.

According to the report, Imran Khan was examined by doctors in line with jail regulations. The document stated that his medical check-up followed standard prison rules. It also confirmed that all required medical facilities are being provided to him. The report further mentioned that Bushra Bibi is also receiving medical care as per jail procedures.

Earlier, the court had shown strong displeasure over the delay in submitting the medical report. Two days before the latest hearing, the ATC issued a contempt of court notice to the jail superintendent. The notice was issued due to the failure to submit the report on time. The court had clearly directed Adiala Jail authorities to present the medical findings at the next hearing.

During the hearing, the court was informed that the report had now been completed and submitted. The judge reviewed the submission and noted that the medical examination was conducted according to established rules.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan’s legal team has filed a separate petition. The petition seeks permission for his personal doctors to visit Adiala Jail. The lawyers argued that access to personal physicians is necessary for better medical monitoring. The court has yet to decide on this request.

After reviewing the matter, the ATC adjourned the hearing related to the medical examination petition until tomorrow. The court stated that further arguments would be heard at the next session.

In addition, the court also addressed other pending cases. Hearings on bail petitions in seven separate cases involving Imran Khan were adjourned. These hearings have now been rescheduled for February 12.
