Pakistani actor-turned-producer Yasir Nawaz recently made a playful suggestion during a light-hearted conversation, proposing that women should be legally required to arrange their husbands’ second marriage after a certain period of time.
Yasir and his wife, Nida Yasir, co-host a show on their YouTube channel alongside Yasir’s brother, Danish Nawaz, where they invite different celebrities as guests for each episode.

In the latest episode, the trio welcomed comedy actor and TV host Salman Saqib Sheikh, better known as Mani, to their home, which also serves as the set for their show. The casual chat touched on a variety of topics, including marriage-related issues, personal space, and the dynamics between spouses.
During the conversation, Yasir emphasized the importance of couples sharing the same room, even if one partner snores or if there are occasional disagreements. He believed that spending time together strengthens the bond between husband and wife.
The discussion then took a humorous turn when Nida noticed that Danish and Mani seemed to be hinting at “second marriage” as another solution to marital issues. In response, Yasir jokingly suggested that the government should pass a law requiring women to arrange their husbands’ second marriage after 15 years of their own. He added, with a chuckle, that if the wife fails to comply, she should face imprisonment.
Nida, quick with a witty retort, responded to Yasir’s banter by saying, “Jo garajtay hain wo baraste nahi” (barking dogs seldom bite).
