According to the Met Office, a westerly wave is impacting the western regions of the country and is expected to move over the upper parts, potentially strengthening over the next 12 hours.

Despite the rain, the air quality in the federal capital is recorded at 85, indicating lower pollution levels compared to the previous week.
Weather Outlook for Pakistan:
Cloudy weather with rain, wind-thunderstorms, and snow is anticipated in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Islamabad, Punjab, and northern Balochistan. Moderate to heavy rainfall, along with snowfall over hills, is likely in Kashmir, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galliyat, and the Potohar region.
Isolated hailstorms are also expected during the forecast period. Additionally, isolated heavy falls and snowfall are likely in north/east Balochistan.
