Sindh has made a significant discovery of oil and gas reserves at the Pateji-X1 well in Sujawal district, achieving one of the fastest exploration-to-production timelines in Pakistan’s energy history.
The discovery, located in the Shah Bandar Block, was made at a depth of 2,475 meters in October, with production commencing in November. The well is expected to yield 12.4 million standard cubic feet of gas per day and around 1,090 barrels of crude oil daily.
