The public holiday encompasses all offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative purview of the Sindh government, excluding essential services.

It is noteworthy that this marks the second public holiday of the week, with December 25th already observed as a day off to celebrate the 147th birth anniversary of Quaid.
