Ayub, known primarily for his batting, took 5 wickets for just 24 runs in 6 overs, playing a key role in limiting Mohammad Rizwan’s Markhors to a low total of 137.
His haul included the important dismissals of Salman Ali Agha and Naseem Shah, significantly weakening the Markhors’ middle and lower order and boosting Shadab Khan’s Panthers.
As the tournament progresses, Ayub aims to maintain his form with both bat and ball, potentially securing a spot in Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming Test series against England.
