Rainy Weather to Continue Across Pakistan for Three Days

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast partly cloudy and humid weather for Karachi over the next 24 hours. Residents may experience light drizzle in some areas during the early morning and late-night hours, while warm and muggy conditions are expected to continue throughout the day.

According to the latest forecast, the maximum temperature in the city is likely to remain between 33°C and 35°C, while the minimum temperature has been recorded at 29.1°C. High humidity levels, currently around 78 percent, are expected to make the weather feel warmer than the actual temperature.

Sea breezes are continuing to blow at a speed of 18 kilometers per hour, providing some relief despite the humid conditions. The Met Office has also predicted occasional gusty winds, along with isolated drizzle in different parts of Karachi during the morning and nighttime.

Lahore Enjoys Cooler Weather After Rain

In Lahore, overnight rainfall brought a noticeable drop in temperature, making the weather more pleasant. Cloud cover and periods of sunshine were seen throughout the day, creating relatively comfortable conditions for residents.

The PMD reported that Lahore’s current temperature stands at 30°C, while the maximum temperature is expected to reach 37°C. The minimum temperature is likely to stay around 28°C.

Weather experts have predicted a 70 percent chance of rain in Lahore during the day. Winds are blowing at 14 kilometers per hour, while humidity has reached 70 percent, keeping the atmosphere fairly moist despite the cooler temperatures.

Rain Forecast for Other Regions

Islamabad is also expected to receive intermittent rainfall, with showers likely to continue during the day. The federal capital’s maximum temperature is forecast to reach 35°C.

The Met Office added that the current spell of rain is expected to continue for the next two to three days in several parts of Pakistan. Thunderstorms and rainfall are also likely in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bringing cooler weather to these regions as the monsoon system remains active.
