According to reports, the project entails the construction of 127 houses within the premises of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), a high-end residential locality in the provincial capital, to cater to the accommodation requirements of government officers.

A summary regarding this initiative has been forwarded to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz by the Board of Revenue for her approval.
As per the outlined specifications, each house for a government officer will be built on a one kanal area to ensure comfortable living standards. The cost of each house is estimated to be Rs350 million, indicating a substantial investment for the project.
