Punjab Government Launches Health Screening Campaign for Special Children
The Punjab government initiated a health screening campaign for special children on Friday, aimed at providing comprehensive medical care and support. The campaign was launched by Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir and Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, Sana Ashiq.
As part of the campaign, various campuses have been equipped with healthcare professionals, including surgeons, opticians, psychologists, and ENT specialists, to cater to the unique needs of special children.

Khawaja Imran Nazir, while addressing the occasion, emphasized that the health screening initiative had been launched under the directives of the Punjab government to ensure the well-being of special children.
Sana Ashiq highlighted that electric wheelchairs and glasses would also be provided to special children as part of the campaign to enhance their mobility and quality of life.
Punjab Health Secretary Nadia Saqib was also present at the launch, lending her support to the initiative. This program reflects the government’s commitment to improving healthcare access for all children, especially those with special needs.
