According to an ET&NC spokesperson, the DG directed Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) Naeem Malik to inspect the Motor Registration Authority Office at Allah Hu Chowk.
The ETO discovered serious flaws in the delivery system there. More than 1,000 vehicle smart cards were not delivered, and 2,000 were returned by the post office, according to the details.

According to the preliminary investigation, the vehicle branch agents were also delivering the cards illegally. Furthermore, the cards were delivered to Pakistan Post several weeks after the registration process was completed.
The raiding team, according to the spokesperson, recommended action against responsible officers and officials. The DG directed officers across the province to remove the tout mafia from their offices and immediately deliver pending smart cards to owners.
He suggested calling cardholders to let them pick up their cards at the office. The DG also threatened to punish the officers that fail to comply with his orders.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
