According to News, the PTI chief presided over a meeting at his Zaman Park residence to discuss election preparations after the Supreme Court (SC) issued a ruling dismissing the Election Commission of Pakistan’s earlier declaration of the October 8 polling date (ECP).
“You all have to be ready; I’ll start distributing tickets tomorrow,” PTI Chairman Imran Khan told his party’s workers after Iftar.

The meeting praised the lawyers for “defending the constitution,” stating that the recent chaos was a plot against the judiciary and that any attempt to postpone the elections would be strongly opposed.
It was agreed that candidate interviews would begin on Thursday and that their names would be finalised within a week.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
