The premier stressed throughout his speech that promoting technical and vocational education is essential for any nation’s progress.
He continued by saying that the development and prosperity of the nation are also ensured by technical and skilled education and training, which is why it should be our top priority.
The prime minister added that through fighting corruption, the younger generation can move the nation forward.

PM Shehbaz continued by saying that graduates from this university would not only be able to support themselves in a respectable way, but will also contribute to a better perception of their nation in the Gulf States and elsewhere.
In accordance with the goals of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, the country’s founders, he emphasised the necessity to eradicate class prejudice, notably in the education sector.
Shehbaz underlined the government’s unshakable support for the growth of technical education, stating that it will also aid in the creation of skilled human capital, which can help reduce the country’s trade deficit by remitting money from abroad.
He claimed that during his tenure as chief minister of Punjab, he established a network of Danish Schools to give underprivileged youngsters who deserved it the chance to pursue an education. He further claimed that he distributed billions in stipends to approximately 500,000 pupils.
The prime minister made an announcement at this time about spending Rs100 million and providing the university with four air-conditioned buses.
Rana Tanveer Hussain, minister of federal education and professional training, earlier stated that practical measures are being made to provide youth with skills so they can support themselves in a respectable way.
Hussain urged the youth to pursue technical education because it is urgently needed.
About 100,000 youths will receive skill development training this year, according to Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the special assistant to the prime minister for youth affairs.
She added that Rs80 billion has been budgeted for youth development in various sectors, noting that the government places a special emphasis on providing young people with fundamental technical skills.
