PIA Faces Concerns as Two More Employees Go Missing in Canada

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]In spite of Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) stringent measures, two more flight attendants from the national carrier are reported as ‘missing’ in Canada.

The two employees, identified as Syed Ali Abbas and Farkhanda Shaheen, traveled to Canada on a PIA flight but failed to report back for duty.

A spokesperson from PIA has confirmed the disappearance of two more employees in Canada. Notably, in November, two cabin crew members from the same airline had also gone missing in the North American country.

While the incident has been reported to Canadian authorities, questions are being raised about PIA’s commitment to addressing this recurring situation.

Sources suggest that the airline crew in Canada may be leaving due to concerns about PIA’s privatization plan and low salaries. PIA officials have also attributed the issue to Canada’s liberal asylum program.

In response to the situation, PIA reportedly imposed an age limit for flight attendants on international flights to Canada and other countries. However, a spokesperson for the airline has denied any such development.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
