The Pakistani rupee faced ongoing pressure against the US dollar, declining by 0.36 percent on the first working day of the week. During early intra-day trading, the PKR stood at 284.45, reflecting a drop of Rs1.02 in the inter-bank market.
On November 3, the local currency experienced further depreciation against the greenback, settling at 283.43. The Pakistani rupee had previously shown resilience after implementing stringent measures but has seen a continuous decline for the third consecutive week.

In the preceding month, the PKR consistently closed positively for 28 consecutive sessions, establishing itself as one of the top-performing currencies. Nevertheless, the US dollar has maintained an upward trajectory due to increasing demand since then.
