Aliya Riaz, well-known for her ability to secure victories with crucial boundaries, once again showcased her mettle. Her dynamic innings of 31 runs from just 18 deliveries, highlighted by a magnificent six in the last over, ensured that Pakistan secured the win with five balls to spare.
In the initial stages of the match, South Africa looked imposing, with openers Laura Wolvaardt and Tazmin Brits forging a solid foundation for the visiting team through a 74-run partnership.
