Pakistan Sees Fourth Consecutive Rise In Gold Prices

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]On Monday, the cost of gold in Pakistan experienced its fourth consecutive daily increase, reaching Rs. 217,900 per tola. According to data provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA), the price surge for 24-carat gold amounted to Rs. 450 per tola, settling at the aforementioned figure. Simultaneously, the rate for 10 grams rose by Rs. 386, reaching Rs. 186,814.

Contrary to this upward trend, the previous week witnessed a decline of Rs. 550 per tola in the price of gold. The initial trading day of the week saw a significant drop of Rs. 1,900 per tola; however, the price rebounded in the latter part of the week, offsetting the early decline.

In the global market, spot gold demonstrated a 0.3 percent increase, reaching $2,055.30 per ounce as of 0830 GMT. Concurrently, US gold futures witnessed a 0.4 percent uptick, reaching $2,059.20. The international dynamics in gold prices contribute to the fluctuations observed in the domestic market, influencing the overall trajectory of gold pricing in Pakistan.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
