[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]According to new data from the international aviation research firm, OAG, Etihad Airways has topped the charts as the most punctual airline in the Middle East and one of the fastest internationally.
Etihad achieved an outstanding on-time arrival rate from January to June 2023. A staggering 83.4 percent of its flights arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time.
In its mid-year 2023 Punctuality League assessments, OAG singled out Etihad as one of the few Middle Eastern airlines to continuously maintain an on-time arrival performance above 80%.
In comparison to other worldwide carriers, the airline also has a low number of flight cancellations.

Etihad’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mohammad Al Bulooki, described the achievement as a significant step forward for the airline. He noted that it demonstrates
Etihad’s commitment to maintaining a dependable operation while continually seeking inventive methods to enhance.
Al Bulooki also said that about four million people are expected to fly with Etihad through its hub, Abu Dhabi International Airport, this summer.
On-time performance (OTP) is defined by OAG as a flight arriving within 15 minutes of its scheduled time. In the airline sector, it is a standard metric.
