Last month, the company was unable to sell a single unit of its flagship sedan, significantly reducing total sales. The report does not specify whether the lack of sales was due to a lack of demand or to production problems.

Honda decided to extend the production shutdown by 15 days on March 31.
The official notification cites supply chain disruption caused by the economy’s deterioration, as well as restrictions on raw materials and CKD imports, as the reasons for the lengthy shutdown.
The previous production shutdown lasted from March 9th to March 31st. The extended shutdown, on the other hand, will last until April 15.
This means that by the end of this shutdown, Honda will have observed a 38-day car assembly shutdown in Pakistan.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
