In addition to the Metro Bus service, feeder route buses connected to it will also be halted temporarily. The suspension aims to maintain secure and unobstructed travel for the visiting officials.
Previously, a detailed traffic plan was put in place for Rawalpindi and Islamabad to accommodate the SCO conference from October 14 to 16. This plan involved various road closures, including the prohibition of heavy traffic within the city limits and the deployment of over 1,100 traffic officers. Major routes like the Expressway from Zero Point to Koral Chowk were closed, and the Metro Bus service between Sadar Station and Pak Secretariat was suspended from October 14 to 17.
