Indian singer Kumar Sanu has addressed rumors about a song purportedly in support of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. On Instagram, Sanu clarified that he has not recorded any song for Khan, stating that the circulating audio is not his voice but rather an AI-generated creation.
Sanu expressed concern over the misuse of technology, specifically AI and deepfake technology, and urged the Indian government to take action against such abuses. He emphasized that the audio being shared is fake and aims to defame him.

The misleading audio, which was falsely attributed to Sanu, features a song overlaid with lyrics supposedly endorsing Imran Khan and his political vision. The audio was manipulated from Sanu’s song “Chori Chori Dil Tera” from the 1993 film Phool Aur Angaar.
