Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have announced a major recruitment drive, opening 1,668 Constable (BS-07) vacancies for eligible candidates across Pakistan. Both male and female applicants are invited to apply for these government positions aimed at strengthening law enforcement in the federal capital.
According to officials, candidates with a minimum qualification of Matriculation or equivalent are eligible to apply. The recruitment process is being conducted under provincial and regional quotas to ensure fair representation and merit-based selection from all parts of the country.
The age limit for applicants has been set between 18 and 25 years, making the opportunity especially suitable for young individuals seeking a stable and respected career in public service. Authorities have encouraged fresh candidates to apply and participate in the selection process.
Interested applicants are required to submit their applications online through the official ICT Police website. Officials have clarified that only online submissions will be accepted, and candidates must complete their applications within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
Physical requirements have also been clearly defined. Male candidates must have a minimum height of 5 feet 7 inches with chest measurements between 33 and 34½ inches, while female candidates must have a minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches. Endurance tests will also be conducted.
Male applicants will be required to complete a 1.5-mile run within 10.5 minutes, while female candidates must complete it in 15 minutes. Candidates will also be required to present original documents, including CNIC, academic certificates, and domicile at the time of the physical test.
Authorities have stressed transparency and strict merit-based selection throughout the recruitment process. Applicants found submitting false information or fake documents may face legal action, and all candidates must provide an affidavit confirming they are not involved in any criminal activity.
