The new working hours, largely applicable in Islamabad where most federal offices are located, are as follows:
– Offices working five days a week: 9 am to 3 pm from Monday to Thursday, and 9 am to 12:30 pm on Friday.
– Offices working six days a week: 9 am to 2 pm from Monday to Saturday, with Friday timing remaining the same.
This adjustment in working hours is a common practice during Ramadan to accommodate the religious observances of fasting and prayers for employees. The notification was issued by the Establishment Division. Prior to this, other provincial governments, including Sindh and Balochistan, had also issued revised timings for offices during the holy month.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
