Islamabad Forecast: PMD Predicts Rain, Colder Temperatures Ahead

Islamabad’s weather remains overcast in the morning, with cold and partly cloudy conditions persisting throughout the day.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts a 30% chance of light rain, with temperatures likely to approach freezing by night, increasing the chill.

Cold and partly cloudy weather is expected in the twin cities and surrounding areas, with light rain or drizzle and occasional light to moderate fog in isolated spots during the morning.

Northern regions, including North Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, may see light rain or snowfall, along with Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad, and the Potohar region.

Moderate to heavy fog is also forecast for Punjab’s plains and upper Sindh. Residents are advised to take precautions as temperatures continue to drop.
