In Islamabad, a district and session court on Friday concluded a petition against PTI Chairman Imran Khan regarding an alleged un-Islamic nikkah with Bushra Bibi during her “Iddat” days.
Civil Judge Qudratullah wrapped up the case after the petitioner withdrew it, citing technical reasons during the hearing. The judge approved the plea, officially disposing of the case against the former prime minister. In April of the same year, a citizen named Muhammad Hanif had filed a petition seeking the registration of a case against Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, and the state, alleging that their marriage was conducted fraudulently during Bushra Bibi’s “Iddat.”
