Ancient copies and pages of the Holy Quran were stolen from Jabal-e-Noor, also known as the “Mountain of Light,” in Quetta, Balochistan.
Ajmal Khan, the facility incharge, revealed that around 150 Quranic manuscripts and pages were stolen after thieves broke the glass display cases inside a mountain tunnel. The stolen items included copies that are reportedly up to 600 years old.

A case has been registered at the Bori police station, but no arrests have been made yet. Jabal Noor-ul-Quran, built in 1992 on Mount Chiltan, serves as a shrine housing ancient Quranic texts and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors annually.
