Lahore Weather Update: Heat Persists Despite Rain Forecast

Lahore Weather remained hot and humid on Saturday as strong sunshine and high moisture levels created uncomfortable conditions across the provincial capital.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the temperature in Lahore was recorded at 33 degrees Celsius during the morning hours. Forecasters expect the mercury to climb further, with the daytime maximum likely to reach 38 degrees Celsius.

Officials said the humidity level was measured at 64 percent, making the weather feel significantly warmer than the actual temperature. The combination of heat and moisture has increased discomfort for residents, particularly during the afternoon when temperatures are expected to peak. Light winds were blowing at around 10 kilometres per hour, but they are not expected to provide much relief from the prevailing conditions.

The latest Lahore Weather forecast indicates that the city will experience a mix of sunshine and scattered clouds throughout the day. While cloud cover may increase at times, weather experts believe it will not be enough to trigger rainfall on Saturday. As a result, hot and muggy conditions are expected to continue until the evening.

However, meteorologists have predicted a change in the weather pattern beginning on Sunday. The department expects thunderstorms and rainfall to develop over Lahore, raising hopes for cooler temperatures after several days of intense heat. If the forecast materializes, the rain is likely to improve weather conditions and provide much-needed relief to residents.

The expected rainfall could also help reduce humidity levels and improve air quality in different parts of the city. Citizens are advised to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours, and take necessary precautions while travelling in the heat.

According to the latest Lahore Weather outlook, residents should prepare for another warm day before the anticipated showers arrive. While Saturday is expected to remain dry, Sunday may bring a noticeable drop in temperature along with rain and thunderstorms, offering a welcome break from the ongoing spell of hot and humid weather
